International Women's Day celebrations
Within the framework of consolidating the culture of gender equality and equity in the educational and practical environment, the Israa Association for Culinary Arts and Sustainable Development organized a culinary event in the field of international desserts under the name “Creative”, which included all beneficiaries of the Israa Education and Training Center aimed at highlighting the distinguished training level that all beneficiaries of the center have become and encouraging them to enter the labor market, and some beneficiaries of the center shared this celebration with them to highlight that men have been and still stand side by side with women
This competition was organized at the headquarters of the association on Monday, March 5, 2024, in the presence of ladies and gentlemen Zahra El Manshoudi, Vice President of the Lakadir Collective Council, Fatima Bouhouili, member of the Lakadir Collective Council, and Fatima Bouhouili, member of the Lakadir Collective Council.
Mr. Emad Kahmou, Director of the Cultural Complex in Ait Melloul, Mr. Mohammed Ait Bouhati, Head of the Department of Cultural and Sports Affairs at the Ait Melloul Collective Council, and the journalist Mr. Abdel Rahim Oukharaz and Mr. Mohamed Amroun, President of the Israa Association for Culinary Arts.
This competition was held under the supervision of the center’s director and international judge, Chef Bouchra Chaie
After the presentation of the creations in the field of international desserts, the tasting of the attendees and the decision of the jury, the representative of the Taroudant region, Ms. Ibtisam Waraka, won the first place deservedly and deservedly with a distinctive creativity in making a dessert that everyone appreciated for its natural materials and the choice of the artistic touch in the combination of its ingredients and the way it was made. Hafidha Ben Mokhtar won the second place, while Zagora’s Mohamed Azroual won the third place, and Fatima Zahraa Alami was able to win the title of creativity by embodying the celebration of Ramadan by making prayer rugs out of candy.
