Celebrating the Amazigh Year (2974) 2024
On the occasion of the Amazigh Year and under the slogan “Celebrating the Amazigh Year is an opportunity to highlight the Moroccan cultural heritage”, the Israa Association for Culinary Arts and Sustainable Development organized on January 16, 2024 an educational and cultural event at the Israa Education and Training Center in Ait Melloul
The event was an opportunity to recognize the Amazigh culture as one of the components of Moroccan identity, as well as to consolidate the values of citizenship among the beneficiaries.
This celebration is a prominent manifestation of the efforts made to consolidate the growing interest in Amazigh culture and heritage, and a reflection of His Majesty the King’s high regard for this fundamental component of Moroccan identity. It is also one of the manifestations of the royal interest in promoting the Amazigh culture in many fields
The following is an outline of the celebration program:
- Recitation of verses from the Holy Quran
- Singing the national anthem in the ceremony hall
- Singing songs and songs stemming from the Moroccan Amazigh heritage
- Preparation and presentation of several dishes and sweets that embody the Amazigh identity and belonging
In conclusion, we mention that all the paragraphs of the planned program passed in a joyful educational atmosphere with which the staff, administrators and beneficiaries interacted positively through their involvement in various activities and their embodiment of this ancient Moroccan cultural heritage.
